However, if you are still in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or another commonwealth country and are planning to visit the UK in the near future, please read on.

If you are able to commit for a year, we always have plenty of residential positions available, but if you are looking for live-out work or are available for a shorter period, the number of positions are limited, especially before Christmas, over Easter and during the school summer holidays.

We do not do direct placements, i.e. set up jobs for you before you arrive, and would not advise nannies to accept a placement from overseas on this basis, as:

• It is illegal, if you need a working holiday visa to travel to a pre-advanced job;
  
  
• It is better to select a job that suits you when you arrive, rather than have the choice made for you. There is always a choice for suitable applicants;
  
  
• The pay on pre-arranged positions will nearly always be lower and often substantially lower. Top families always require face to face interviews
