Jobs In London
Live in Nannies
Nanny posts are available to those with nursing / teaching / nanny training, or those with considerable childcare experience. Nannies can expect to have semi or complete charge of children. Their household duties will include cooking, cleaning and washing for the children but not for the rest of the family.
Time off is a minimum of one and a half days a week, (nearly always two) and one to three (or even all) weekends a month. Evenings off are arranged with the employer. There should be at least two or three a week, usually more.
The pay varies depending on age and experience
Live out Nannies
Duties of Daily Nannies are similar to Residential Nannies, but the pay is higher. Daily Nannies normally work 10 hours per day monday to friday. Nannies must be able to drive.
Mother's Helps (residential)
Mother's Helps posts are available to those persons without formal qualifications or as much childcare experience as Nannies. Mother's Helps are not expected to take full charge of children, but to work with the mother as a team. Duties include all aspects of childcare and light housework. Time off is similar to that of Nannies. Pay varies according to age and experience.
Temporary Nannies (residential & daily)
For those with at least three years' full time childcare experience we have temporary positions too. These positions can involve taking sole charge of children when both parents are away either all the time or during the day only.
Maternity Nurses (usually residential)
We have a huge selection of maternity posts available, mainly in London but also elsewhere in the UK and abroad - enough to keep experienced maternity nurses supplied with consecutive assignments indefinitely.
