What type of Nanny Job are you looking for?
Live-in Nanny
Suitable for those with a childcare qualification/nursing/teaching background or with a solid childcare background with checkable references. A good option if coming to London for the first time. You will be provided with your own room and your own bathroom which may be shared with the children. Weekends are free and you will be expected to babysit 1-2 nights per week. You will be expected to carry out full Nursery Duties. Salary expectations are between £300/400npw and expect more for International placements (outside UK)
Daily Nanny (live-out)
More popular for Nannies familiar with London. You will either be qualified and/or have worked previously as a full-time Nanny. Salaries are higher for Daily Nannies as the parents expect a higher level of experience but do bear in mind that you will then have to find somewhere to live, food etc (currently about £150 per week). Salary expectations are between £450/550npw.These positions are for 5 day weeks Mon-Friday and sometimes 4 days.
Mother’s Helps
A great way into the childcare industry for those with limited formal experience. These positions tend to be live-in with either school aged children or shared care working alongside a Mum helping to care for babies/toddlers. Other than including all aspects of childcare you will be expected to ‘muck in’ with light housework. Again weekends are free with up to 2 nights a week babysitting. Salary Expectations are between £250/300npw.
Part-Time Nannies
We always have a great selection of 2 and 3 day jobs all over London, and often 12pm-7pm positions looking after school aged children. Usually paid an hourly rate of £9-10 net per hour.
Temporary Nannies
For those of you with at least 3 years experience. We get bookings from 2 days to 6 months either Live-in or Live-out. A good way to work whilst looking for a permanent position or if you have some time left at the end of your visa. Generally sole charge, we expect you to ‘hit the ground running’ ‘Super Nanny style!!’
