Permanent Nannies
PERMANENT NANNIES
All of the nannies that we select for sole charge positions are candidates who are qualified in childcare or who have a proven childcare background of at least 2 years full-time.
We also consider qualified teachers and graduates who have proven to be extremely popular with families who have older children and likewise paediatric nurses who are great caring for infants.
All of our candidates have checkable childcare references and if they do not hold a current police check from their country of origin we encourage them and help them to do so. Likewise we advise on updating/enrolling on First Aid certificates.
LIVE-OUT NANNIES
Often the most qualifed and experienced of our candidates, their standard hours are from approximately 8.00am-6.30pm Monday to Friday (we do however expect a certain attitude and flexibility from our candidates and appreciate that hours may vary in each position) The average weekly salary for a live-out nanny working a 50 hour week is currently £400-500 net per week.
PART-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNIES
A popular option for Mother`s returning to work 2/3/or 4 days per week. Part-time nannies may be looking to match days around an existing nanny job or around their studies. A solid childcare back ground and age relevant experience is essential. Hourly rates range from £8-10 net per hour.
LIVE-IN NANNIES
A more flexible option for families who require an earlier start or a later finish. Live-in nannies work on average an 11 hour day with 1-2 nights a week babysitting. Weekends are free. The average weekly salary is £300-£400 net per week.
MOTHER`S HELPS
Mother’s Helps can vary in age and experience; often they are younger and may have relatively short-term childcare experience either in a childcare centre or as a part-time nanny or babysitter.
Duties include all aspects of childcare and light housework but above all we expect flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude to muck in where required alongside the mother. Live-in Mother’s Helps can expect to earn £200/300 net per week and Daily Mother’s Helps £350/400 net per week.
